The truth is one thing and what people do is another

The truth is one thing, and what people do is another.Yet they blame the truth, and not what they do.

I have been reading the headlines by non Muslims and more disappointingly by Muslims who claim that Islam needs reformation. For the non Muslims, perhaps they haven't truly heard the real message as it was sent down by the Almighty through our Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. This is our mistake as Muslims, because we don't spread the right message or selfishly keep the message to ourselves. And when we are not selfish, we lack the courage to speak the truth.
In the words of Ibn Taymiyyah RahimahuAllah: "If I remained silent and you remained silent, then who will teach the ignorant?". Silence results in the ignorant teaching the ignorant and here we are today. We are in a situation where we are pressured into explaining ourselves because we haven't done our job. We can give excuses to those who have never picked up the glorious Quran and have been subjugated to being fooled by writers who pick and choose parts with little or no understanding of the content and whose hearts have already been sealed.
But what is our excuse?

It seems that human not so perfect beings blame everything and anyone but themselves.
We are so busy. Busy condemning and condoning what someone else does, blaming and explaining, arguing and dialoguing on the do's and don'ts of what someone else is doing, while forgetting our real purpose.  If we had any intelligence, we would rectify our mistakes.

The world is somehow directly or indirectly at war because we are so busy justifying and criticizing everything but ourselves and looking everywhere and anywhere but in the place that had we looked in the first place, would have the world in silence and maybe we could have some peace.
People fear the truth and most importantly they fear that if they accept the truth, they can no longer live the way they live. What a loss to mankind, that they believe that progress is the creation's made laws while the Creator of the heavens and the earth just laws are washed away.
To all those who question Islam, who question the final message of Mercy to mankind, my answer is as follows. Before you judge, read, before you decide understand.

If you have questions, go to someone who is learned, not to someone who picks and chooses what suits them.
It is human beings(mankind) that need to reform themselves. The Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him was sent to perfect good character. Like Moses, may peace and blessings be upon him, and Jesus may peace and blessings be upon him, like Abraham may peace and blessings be upon, like Joseph may peace and blessings be upon him, the prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him, was sent to lead us away from bad characteristics like greed, envy, hate, ignorance, arrogance etc all of which are traits of Satan.
The Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him was sent to the whole of mankind to teach us how to love our brother and sister like how we love ourselves and how we should wish for our brothers and sisters what we wish for ourselves. How no man is superior to another man and how we are all equal in the eyes of our Creator in every action except when it comes to piety.

So don't tell me Islam needs reformation, it's mankind, not religion. Stop blaming Perfection on our imperfections. Stop blaming Perfection on the weakness of men and women who are desirous of the world and have forgotten their purpose. Stop blaming Perfection, because of our lust of this temporary world. Don't tell me that the Divine message should be neglected because we think we are invincible. Because we are not.We are but a number of days.

"He who keeps his heart near God will find peace and tranquility, whilst he who gives his heart to the people will find restlessness and apprehension."- Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya (RA)
