Spare a thought for the innocent

In the modern termed world, there is no such thing as a properly implemented human right. If there was then everyone ought to be held accountable to the human wrongs that occur on a daily basis not just in my society but in every society in every corner around the world. Those who disagree with the prominent termed defenders are held accountable to that and those who agree are protected. I don’t need to give examples on that, look it up and do your research, you will be sure to find thousands.

Picking and choosing who to condone or condemn is very far from the actual definition which is the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled, often held to include the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equality before their man-made laws.  I used to believe that that was the case regardless of one’s stance however that is very far from the truth. Human rights labeled defenders proved that the definition is not applicable to all but to some and it came to my attention ever since the Bahrain 2011 uprisings that still to date shocked our nation.

Human rights defenders who are supposed to be defending my rights and rights for all instead pursued and still pursue attempts to constantly label anyone who disagrees with them in any way and consciously discredit anyone not interested with their marketing of the democratic façade and ironically enough most of them come from backgrounds of democracy spouting western in reality non-democratic societies. By doing so they proved their bias and lack of a fair trial and allegations became condemnations with no justice towards any view other than the one they were ordered to stand by. The democracy they media frenzy and disseminate is basically 51% dictatorship on the 49%, full stop.

Numerous abuses were never circulated or condemned that was not connected to their agenda. The case of many they termed pro government or loyalists despite the abuses and attacks from their nurtured opposition alliances to date have never been spoken nor written about.

A question to those whose ignorance amuses me, does loyalty mean that I am no longer a human being? Does loyalty to what I believe in mean that I am no longer recognized like everyone else? Have I lost my humanity when I stand up for what I believe in? And what about the ones they defend and to whom they are actually loyal to? Is it acceptable for them to have their loyalties to the opposition as an example Al Wefaq and for me its' a crime?

What gives them authority to decide what I should or shouldn’t support. What gives them the right to decide what is right or wrong?  Most mainly as outsiders mock my views however I have become immune and just as ignorant to theirs. Desensitizing works in all forms. What gives them the right to say that they know what’s best for me and my family when they never even asked my opinion in the first place? I can raise a thousand questions that will be left unanswered and fallen on the mute.

The declaration of human rights means human rights for all not for some and in that case it’s obsolete if only applied for the chosen few.

Sorry, but I can do nothing but stand back and watch while reading wondering how idiotic and ironic Al Wefaq looks today. Remember the truth of their lie? Well if you have missed it, then you can read all about that right here.

Remember this constant picture disseminated by Al Wefaq raised by the mass media in your minds that goes out on a daily basis

Here’s the video that Al Wefaq marketed and still stand by as a horrifying scene and it’s still out there and being used constantly in many of their reports

And here is an image from another angle by another you tube user

Although teargas should not be directly fired upon anyone it was irresponsible and damaging to portray a scene that went around the world in a matter of minutes that showed an image that was not entirely true. Here is another video that should have been included however damage is already done and false information in this day and age never has a habit of being retracted.

As for their human rights team behind them they are no more than a façade of impressions with great acting skills from the best trainers in the world. Had I had the opportunity to receive such training I would have won the Oscars by now.

They have had time on their hands while many of us were unaware of what was occurring around us. Remember the highly critical false critical yet to be retracted. Common human rights defenders where were you then? Is it “prominent” to lie?

Where were their voices in 2011 when children rampaged on the streets skiving off school every morning with a teacher in tow as if in command?

Where were they when children were not provided with medical care because they were not considered Bahraini or from a particular sect?

The world’s sudden concern for children being arrested and denied an education as well as health care was of no concern when children during the occupation of Salmaniya hospital were turned away and only raised when children who went out to block and burn roads while throwing Molotov's at civilian cars in an attempt to murder policemen and in the process a few innocent bystanders.

Their sudden concerns make me laugh for an education while in 2011 schools were attacked and shut down and education came to a standstill. The dark days when public and even private school children were told to go home or were threatened if they went to school even by their school teachers - in my children's case by teachers that were staunch supporters of Al Wefaq and some of them were leaders. Those very teachers that shunned 5 and 6 year olds are back at school teaching today. I wonder how those human rights defenders would feel if those were their kids who were shunned at school and how quick they would be to defend them. But then if they haven't been affected by such experience how would they understand.

I remember being ushered away and told that school was closed. One of my children who attends the public sector girls school grade point average fell from 98.5 to 86 that year. I won’t forget what that did to her esteem and to her outlook on life today.  The uprising human right termed defenders like to glorify harm to others while assuming they are protecting or defending where in fact they are destroying.

I remember a call from the schools social workers office crying to come and get her quickly as protesters had attacked the school and the girls had to hide in the school gym. Panicked I made my way on that day while Manama was left at a standstill. I was frantic to reach there on time and drove like a maniac. Schools were closed for a number of weeks and exams were on the way. So where were you  glorified human right defenders? Where was UNICEF? Where was Amnesty International? Why did our children hold no value to you whereas a teenager who commits a crime does?
I remember when my youngest child still in year 1 and just half an hour after dropping him off to school I was called to come and collect  him because Al Wefaq decided to stage a rally near his school. So to tell me that those who had no involvement nor cared to be involved and were denied even the rights of a basic education for our children fell on silent ears was ok but a child who terrorizes others is condoned and his basic right condemned is a farce.

For those who are unaware they do have an education and it's free of charge yet they don't want to study.  Anyone that wants to excel in life needs no more than a good education and the will power and determination to see it through.  There are no barriers when it comes to determination. And for those who are unaware juveniles are given an education regardless of what crimes they commit even while in detention.

What days we went through. The memories come flooding in and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The tip does not relate to what lurks underneath.
Did Al Wefaq and their allies their defenders of humanity care when school kids were driven back and forth as soon as they were dropped off to school to attend the daily rallies at the round about? Shuttled back and forth like sheep on the back of pickup trucks and in some cases by the very school bus driver who diverted their direction away from innocence.

Where were they then to condemn and pretend to be concerned today? Where were they to speak up and tell children that this is wrong?  What did they have to say when their supporters refused to teach 6 year olds at school who directed their aggression on children? Nothing at all.

Spare a thought for the innocent that did not call for this uprising and for the young who are abused. Spare a thought for the innocent that had no idea what was going on around them. Spare a thought for the innocent who knew nothing of what was about to occur and spare a thought for innocent children who were dragged into a revolution that world leaders today should stand by in condemnation of.
